Within the spiritual world, there is a class of entities who are called ‘Spiritual Guides'. In order to understand the role of a guide it firstly needs to be understood that mediums believe that the spirit that is us is a continuum, living on earth and then in the spiritual world, back to earth and back to the spiritual world and so on. This is done so that we can continue to learn and grow, and what we are learning and growing in is love.

When a spirit incarnates on earth it is to repay karmatic debt and to learn new things about love through our experiences. When that spirit returns to the spiritual world, it is also to grow in their knowledge of love. This is achieved by each spirit being given a specific ‘job'. In the case of Crazy Horse, that job is as the spiritual guide to Ian Rogers.

Each person on earth has with them a number of guides, who are chosen to work with the person on earth to help them with a specific part of their journey. They are chosen because they are there or thereabouts the same level of evolution (or energy) as the person on earth and they have already experienced and learned from, what the person on earth is about to go through. In this way they bring specific knowledge and understanding to the life of the person on earth.

When the person on earth has moved successfully through that experience it is normal for the guide to move on and a new guide is assigned to help the person through the next level of experiences. In some cases a guide can stay with a person on earth for a short number of years and in other cases most of their life.

Thus, through helping to guide people on earth through their experiences, the spirit existing in the spiritual world grows in their own energy and knowledge of love.
